Catherine, it is always enjoyable to see where you have been exploring, this time the Eastern Shore of Maryland. To center on the crab boat, I would be tempted to crop in on the right almost to the boat itself and to crop the bottom taking half of the grass out. The crab boat itself is a little stark white. The next time you have something stark white, try reducing the auto-exposure a half or full stop to get some detail in the white. Nice image! |

Ling Ling this is a good capture of the snow geese migrating through the Central Valley of California. If I were doing this, I would consider the snow geese to be the center of interest and have them sharply focused, perhaps even cropping out most of the grassy foreground. |

Janice, this is a good capture of the bird looking out from its nest across the street. To me including the tree blossoms adds background to your image. Your cropping is good but I personally might crop the right side in to the tree trunk to eliminate the out of focus blossoms. |

Well Julie, the cassowary is not a native bird of the US so this is an interesting image to see. I think you did an excellent job in post processing. To me, I would prefer a slightly lighter background, perhaps adding a white stroke around the image to separate it from the black background of the website.
Nice job!

Andrew, this is an excellent image, especially considering you had to shoot through a chain link fence from a public walkway. Your post processing was right on. I like that the blade draws the eye in.
We have blades arriving by ship in Duluth and then transported by truck for installation in western Minnesota and the Dakotas. I will see if I can find one of my images to include here. |

Hi Julie,
Thank you for the comments. Yes, the dab of white does distract - I should have cloned it out. Probably it is the back part of the hat or the costrume. |
