Catherine, you are very justly proud of this one. I would at first tempted to try to lighten it slightly but on second thought, no, that would destroy the feeling of nighttime solitude. You notched it! |

Ling Ling, what appeals to me in this image is the layers upon layers. The soft sky has layers upon layers of clouds, then below are layers of mountains, and then in the foreground are muted layers of waves. There is so much for the viewer to see and mull over.
I think Don Hill has done a nice job of post processing. |

Janice, this is a wonderful capture of your family members showing an important event in their lives and the openness of their smiling faces.
If this were mine, I would be tempted to crop down on the top to eliminate the sky so just the wall shows. The line of the wall top and sky appear to me to be a minor distraction.
Great image.

Don, the mountains becken to me and say "come explore me." All in all, this image just draws me in with a desire to see the land. Perhaps that is because I am currently reading a book by Craig Childs who explores the native American remnants on the Colorado Plateau. I understand your reluctance to work with the gold sky, yet I would be tempted to reduce it slightly. Individual preference I guess. |

Julie, a pink eared duck is certainly interesting. In cropping I would suggest leaving a little more room on the left for the duck to fly into. |

Don, I like your cropping out the tree on the left. However I think that Color Efex Pro does emphasize the graves but loses the misty fog feeling. |
