Hi Andrew,
Yes, I should have tried a hand-held HDR and will remember to try it with similar subjects in the future.
Stephen did a good job of correcting the keystoning which I also tried in one of my versions. My posted version I prefer because it implies how high/tall the windows are and how one has to look up to view them. Personal preference I guess.

Catherine, this really has the feel of a foggy day on the ocean shore. And it is nice that the shore line is diagonal.
I wonder about increasing the contrast slightly so that the fall color in the bushes would add a little interest and color. Now, having read Moira's comments, I think she has some good ideas but I agree with you that the sky became to bright. So there we are, three different points of view but all valid. |

Alison, I am drawn into this image, a sunshiny day, a cascading stream, and a quiet pool of day that one can sit and enjoy for hours at a time. Nice work! Your post processing and perhaps HDR processing really worked.
I don't have any suggestions. |

Jamie, this is great, especially the lighting and contrast of the horses and the small figures showing the dimension of the sculpture. As to a picture of sculpture, I don't know what your club members say about photographing someone else's work, but here you are an artist creating what you see and feel so to me it is valid art. |

Moria, this is a lovely capture of a gull waiting for fishing boats to bring it scraps. The eye is sharp and the background is muted.
I wondered whether cropping in closer to the gull would improve the image so I tried it as seen below. It works but the setting of the gull is lost so I don't think that is the way to go. Your version is the best!

Prakhar, you and Kolkatta must have had a lot of fun working out Lady Devil. I like the dark background and how you have used your background light. I like the diagonal lines of Kolkatta's arms and the antlers.
Now, how about hooking the attention of the viewer by pointing a finger straight forward. Perhaps a small catch light in each eye would also achieve this.
Thanks for doing a studio lighting portrait which challenges me to try it also.
Great image.
Now I have read the comments of the others and think they add some interesting ideas. |

Clear, sharp focus. Even some blur in the rear roter to indicate motion and some persons looking out distant building windows to see what is happening. I like the image.
Suggestions? Well, the helicopter could have been higher in the sky to separate it from the background buildings but that might not have been possible depending on where you were standing when taking the photograph.
Great job! |

Lisa, this is an interesting abstraction. I would like to know more about how you did it? Did you use the polar coordinate filter as Brad suggests? |

The crazy 60's feeling is really here Jan. The stark, contrasty colors really jump out at a viewer.
The redundancy of the two signs bothers me a little but as you are doing multiple copies, that is going to be the result.

Maryellen, nice job of putting the face on the pumpkin. It looks as though you had a willing model. You did a masterful job of blending the face into the pumpkin.
I'm looking forward to more of your composting.
Brad has some interesting suggestions. |

I'm sure you had lots of fun working on this Kathy. If your assistants are willing, you could work up a whole series of flowers. |
