Ah Karen, there are lots of portraits of older bearded men but your combining it with a picture of glass fusing sets it apart. Congratulations on a creative variation of a portrait!! I think the blue tone to the glass adds whereas if you had used say pink, it would not.
Andrew does have a point in his suggestion yet the yellow does add contrast to what tends to be monotone print. |

Jamie, I think you captured it! It brings to mind fall pictures in Europe where tan harvested fields recede into the background. The highlighting of the sand dunes is masterful.
I have been on the Great Sand Dunes but did not get away to capture the great landscape scene that you did. Congratulations!
Andrew has some great ideas and a great alternative which I like. But still I like your foreground and a slight soft feeling in the image. I would enjoy equally either version on my wall. |

Bai, I like the variety and complexity of this image. I can imagine it on a wall and looking at it for a long time examining all of the spaces and buildings.
I rarely work with night shots so I am not a good judge of them. However, would more contrast work to blacken the dark areas? I think Andrew did work out some improvements. |

Prakhar, you have captured a beautiful portrait of an intense predetor stalking across its territory. The close cropping increases the intensity. The sharp focus of the tiger and the out of focus background further increases the intensity of the portrait. And your post processing again increased the intensity. Bravo for beautiful wildlife portrait!
Mike has interesting comments and adjustment image but I think your rendition is just as perfect! |

Andrew I like the simplicity of this image. The red pilot boat catches one's attention, the white wake leads one's eye to the two boats in the background adding depth to the image.
Suggestion - would increasing contrast add something to this?
I would respectfully disagree with Jamie and your revision. I think your original version is more artistically interesting. |
