The race to the finish of the shaggy dogs! Wonderful concept! Wonderful execution. Karen, I like this and have no suggestions to make. |

Curtis, you captured the moment! The slightest breeze or rise in the temperature would have destroyed your fine image capture.
I would guess it was flat, overcast lighting when you took this. Would it be improved by making it lighter? |

Jamie, were this spiral in my home I fear I would lapse into an alcoholic stupor. Your patience in working to get the perfect image paid off. Great foresight and great execution. |

Bai, wonderfully conceived and executed image! Your combining of multiple images was done flawlessly to my eye.
Some might think the image is do dark. I don't think so. Lightening the image and having more detail in the mountains would destroy the simple beauty and the curve of the lights. |

Andrew, good ideas. Tighter cropping would concentrate on the foreground figures.
F11 did have everything in focus so you are correct that a wider open aperture would have thrown the background out of focus. I don't remember my thinking at the time as to setting the aperture. In defense of the image at f11 I was trying to capture people in their natural setting. At f11, one can have a feeling of the surrounding people and buildings which would be more difficult if they were out of focus. |

Prakhar, stunning floral! Sharpness of flowers and water dropets are right on!
Composition - what if you rotated the image slightly so the major flower was more to the left hand corner and the minor flower more to the upper right hand corner? Would it improve the composition?
Now as I read Andrew's comments, I agree with him. |

Andrew, this is a wonderfully human-like show of affection. I think it is a wonderful capture of wildlife. Tecnically it is sharp, hard to do with a 480 mm ff equivalent lens. Great! |
