Curtis, I played a little bit with the definition of the flowers and finally settled with this being somewhat abstract but still giving the idea that these are flowers.
You are right, I should have cloned out the sun flare on the lens. |

Haley is a new designer breed of dog! Karen, good job of composting three images into one. The wings and the design in the glass compliment each other nicely in the direction of their flow.
Now I have read Andrew & Curtis' suggestions - yes you could heal out the white dots but that is a very minor flaw.
Great! |

Curtis, the Shay tractor with the low starburst is a great find! You did a wonderful job of bringing up the shadows in this back lit image. If possible, I would attempt to lighten the shadows and tractor even more. |

Jamie, this location has great potential for further experimentation. Can you go back and capture a biker or walker in the foreground to be a center of interest and also if possible a figure way back in the background. Another idea: the road comes right to the center of the image. Would it be more dynamic coming more to say the right side. And lastly, another idea, would the road be more interesting if you crouched down low so that it appears the road is coming right into the camera. Well, some ideas to try to see if they are better or worse than your original idea.
Now I have read the ideas of Andrew and Curtis. As does Curtis, I feel this captures the approach of winter. Cropping out the sky? I don't object to the sky as there isn't a lot of it and the tree limbs are interesting.
Andrew's red anorak would make the image pop. However, it might lesson the feeling of approaching winter. |

Bai, once again you have captured a beautiful night scene. To nit pick, you tilted your camera up slightly so the buildings look as if they are converging. This was probably hard to detect at night when you were taking the picture. In post processing this could probably be corrected.
To go a little further, could you also take a fast exposure of a passing vehicle and bring it into the final image as layer, thus showing what is causing the red and white lines. Nice image!
Now the comments of Andrew and Curtis have merit. Cropping as Curtis suggests would bring the theater more into focus. |

Andrew, I think this is a beautifully captured image of the Hull Trinity Minster windows at the front of the nave. I like the color balance and the symmetry you have captured.
Now, reading the thoughts of Curtis and your response, I think the windows and ceiling add to the image, providing a setting and location. As to a fisheye lens, I do not own one as I never liked their distortion. However, the way you have used one here is to me very acceptable. Nice job! |
