40 Oct 17 Comment Curtis, this is a great image of Rock Creek! The waterfalls are milky and the contrast is great. The rock and leaves in the foreground give a feeling of great depth of field. And the low camera angle gives one the feeling of being right there in the water.

A thought - would having the rock and leaves in the foreground sharper give more contrast to the milky falls in the background? You could have used a smaller aperture to have more depth of field. Ah, now reading Andrew's comment I see he has the same thought.		 Oct 16th
40 Oct 17 Reply Wow, Susan, I am going to have to put flipping in my repertoire, something I haven't done in the past. This does improve the image. But I think I do still like to include the bow. Thanks, Henry Oct 16th
40 Oct 17 Comment Jamie, this black and white image has a magical whimsy feel to it. The leaves are natural but the curves and different directions of the hold fast tendrils (or whatever they are called) add a delightful fantasy to the image. And I like that the vine crosses the image at a slight diagonal. From having a vine growing on a fence in our back yard I can imagine the tendrils ing around anything they touch.

A variation? How about cropping in and tilting slightly? Hmm, well different but not necessarily an improvement.		 Oct 16th
