Interesting boat walkway. Good to capture these before they disappear.
I think it would be better to include more of the surrounding area to give context. I would otherwise clone the right hand post out.
I don't often pixel peep but there is a bit of grain in the background, possible related to shooting at ISO 1600. This could be reduced using PS or Topaz Sharpen. Grain can be OK for egrets but possibly something to avoid in this sort of shot. Perhaps try quickly switching to P camera mode. Alternatively you could use your mobile phone camera - the quality can be surprisingly good. Just a thought.

A good "record" shot of a flock of birds in flight. An improvement, I think, would be to do a very slight crop so that splashes and birds aren't on the edge of the frame. |

Yes, a good shot and appropriate crop. My only negative is that the top left hand corner looks a bit soft to me. |

This is an interesting picture - a 'scape with dereliction. Lots to look at. A good shot and this area is surely worth revisiting.
The foreground rope grabs the eye but it takes the viewer to the edge of the picture and the interesting barge is also cut off. I took the liberty in my edit to chose a 8:3 crop and cloned the houseboat out. What do you think? |

You have done a good job in simplifying the image and removing the person in front of the mother. I think the view of "backs", though, doesn't really work. Perhaps the crop is also too tight. Overall the image is 2 stops underexposed and would be better brightening. |
