40 Aug 25 Comment Good shot especially from a moving boat. The flag and the red roof are very dramatic. Is there a slight upward slope with the camera?
I did wonder if a slight crop off the RHS would make it work better, there is a sloping building (I assume it's on a ramp) in the background which looks a little odd.		 Aug 28th
40 Aug 25 Comment Good capture. My only comment is that whilst you can't control how a wild animal behaves, it would have been better to get the cheetah head on rather than from the side. Aug 28th
40 Aug 25 Comment This is an interesting scene. I don't like the crop - the two seated figures are too small in the picture and just sitting there, apparently not relating. I think a landscape crop to include the two vases and reduce some of the grey sky might be better, turning it into a more general "park" scene. The sky is miserable and whilst not allowed in the Travel genre, the picture would be so much better with it replaced with one of your own from another day. Aug 21st
40 Aug 25 Comment A very striking picture. It works well in mono. I agree it's not quite straight enough. I know this probably isn't possible to fix, but I think the tree on the LHS foregrounds detracts a bit. Aug 21st
40 Aug 25 Comment I like this picture - very attractive. Several possible reasons why judges might dislike it:
Preference for threes rather than twos
The bottom flower is slightly cropped
Not sure about the background - I prefer Don's edit.
