34 Feb 24 Comment The sleigh fits in with the feathered background (I like that also) very well but not convinced about the purple heron, its just standing there on its own. Perhaps it needs to be much closer to the sleigh.

40 Feb 24 Comment These experimental shots can come up with dividends. Personally not quite convinced by this one - I am not fond of the large burnt out streaks but that's just me.
Both B&W and Colour OK.
There are a couple of details which are interesting though, what do you think? 		Feb 25th

40 Feb 24 Comment It's a nice scene, and the rising mist has been well observed. To me, it comes across as a rather wide view which might do better in in 2 parts (left and right!). I'm not sure it works so well as one.
I feel it is underexposed by about a stop which makes for a muddy foreground so I've played round with that as well as adjusting white balance, sharpening, dehaze and lightening the shadows....
I like the adjustments made by the others.

40 Feb 24 Comment I think you have cropped too much, it really needs to show some context from the surrounding area. Have you a shot showing the route up the stairs? Feb 18th
