18 Mar 23 Comment I find the background a bit busy and distracting. I agree about darkening the water. Mar 9th
18 Mar 23 Comment This is a lovely image and the colouring of just a few balconies is really effective and grabs the attention. I cant think of any improvements. Mar 9th
18 Mar 23 Comment I think this is a great transformation and I think the border helps that. I don't have anything to add. Mar 9th
18 Mar 23 Comment Yes it required quite a bit of fiddling with settings, then lightening in PS as it was a bit dark. Mar 8th

34 Mar 23 Comment Very nice effect on the background trees which works well. I like this a lot - it's given me some ideas! My feeling is that it would work even better if the deer was looking into the scene rather than out of the scene. What do you think? Mar 7th

40 Mar 23 Comment Not sure about this, there is a pathway going through the image and disappearing in the top left and I am wondering whether better to put a stop on this by better positioning. Mar 21st
40 Mar 23 Comment Really like this, you have the subjects about right and the background is fine. Great shot. Mar 21st
40 Mar 23 Comment Thanks. I worry a bit about blueing the water is a "bridge to far". I mean everyone is knows the Humber is all mud! Mar 21st
40 Mar 23 Comment I like the sun but I also like the branches of the tree and wondered if a wider crop including both would be better. Agree also removing light poles. Nicely seen. Mar 21st
40 Mar 23 Comment I like this image very much - well captured. It's good to take pictures of "ruins". I think Lin's removal of the grasses is definitely better. My only other question is whether there is a slight tilt? Mar 21st
40 Mar 23 Comment It's not the usual scene one gets of SF. Nice 'scape. We made it to Oakland but didn't get as far as Alameda. My only comment is that, to me, it looks a bit flat and it could really do with an increase in contrast and vibrance. It all looks a bit too grey. Mar 13th
40 Mar 23 Comment Sorry - details Canon EOS M 22mm lens, f6.3 1/40s ISO 100. Mar 8th
