Pretty cat!
I agree that the positioning and lighting of the cat's head could be improved. Otherwise a neat idea worthwhile working on further. |

Nice work. I am not sure if this "tilted glass effect" is just a complication (and maybe not necessary, but that's me) |

Yes this is a great treatment which works well. Really striking. Nothing I can suggest to improve it. |

I am not quite sure about the left hand edge, what is happening here? |

It's well caught, sharp enough and in focus - one can see the drops of water on the chest. There is a reflection in its eye. The posture is OK. My only suggestion is it's slightly too dark IMHO and might benefit from half a stop more exposure. What do you think? |

We visited Utah in 1991 but time limited us to Bryce and Zion canyons. The Coral Pink Sand Dunes looks an nice venue and you have an interesting capture. You don't share your metadata but the image looks a bit soft to me - did you use a tripod?
Overall, I think adding a bit of vibrancy and contrast would help. I agree the mono version could be water, sand or snow. I think I prefer the colour original. |

Nice image well seen. I prefer the colour version, the mono is a bit too "flat" for my taste but the muted colours of the colour are attractive. I think it was right to chop the righthand strand off the margin. |

A nice area well worth your revisit. This is a very attractive rendition, the colours are a bit "strong" - perhaps slightly tone down the bright greens in the foreground but the lift in colours overall is good.
Club judges seem to dislike the horizon running through the centre of the picture. I don't think this matters and there isn't much you could do about this here anyway.
I would suggest cloning out the stems on the left and right which are going out of shot i.e. touch the edge of the frame in the sky area. |
