Yes nice effect. Did the colour version not work, it would be nice to see that? |

I think the problem was trying to get background to foreground sharpness with f14. Also, probably the EOS 5 mkiii is good at much higher ISO. In any case, modern software is quite good at minimising noise.
I don't know about the rules in this sort of museum but I always have a mini-table tripod in my bag which can be handy as it's almost un-noticeable and doesn't obstruct other people.
I rarely use it myself but sometimes a flashgun can make all the difference between getting a shot (or not). |

My only commnent is maybe better if the background partially obscured by the top ball wasn't there but a nice idea for Christmas. |

Original is included if there are significant changes but not on this occasion. I think I showed the original in December. |

What a pity the other shots didnt come out. Did you work out why?
Nice shot (personally I find these historical scenes very interesting - iron workers still use these tools today).
I think it is a bit too dark. Don's treatment showing some detail in the background is an improvement (except the vice on the left hand side clips the edge of the frame in his version). Not so fond of the diagonal light on the right hand but that's personal. It's minor point but I would clone out the match on the bottom left hand side corner. |

Nice treatment and final picture. It would be interesting to see a wider view for comparison. You don't say what your exposure was, most books suggest about half a second depending on how fast the water is, for a good blur. |

This is almost abstract, at first I thought it was poppies in a field. I would slightly straighten the door and clone out the stripe top right hand corner, otherwise it's fine.
I would like to see a wider view of the car, I hope you took several shots of it yourself. |

Great shot, you've excluded the distracting background and the mono treatment is fine. I think it's about sharp enough too. Does your club like it? |

I think you have done a very effective treatment of this 'scape, well done. I wondered about retaining a bit more of the foreground but this the crop is probably the best. You could crop out the sun but I think it really makes the wintry scene. |
