1 Sep 21 Comment This is a really interesting image. Almost black and white. Very sinister. I quite like Dennis' version but it is quite different. I think it needs the wide angle view otherwise the context is gone. Great shot. Sep 26th

40 Sep 21 Comment Nice starscape. I think it is a pity that the city lighting is still so prominent. At 21s you are starting to see movement and I wondered if you might have done better with your wide angle lens wide open to give you a shorter exposure. Sep 24th
40 Sep 21 Comment This is a really good shot, well done. Lots of possibilities for different crops, some better than others, but all good. I did wonder if it might be better lightened a touch but that is a matter for personal preference. Sep 24th
40 Sep 21 Comment Nice original but this is a tricky one and there is no "right" or "correct" crop for this image. There is less of interest on the right hand side and I quite like Alison's crop. I think highlighting the green plant to the right of the door might be something to work on (ie wack up the green).
In the end I think your version is a good one and not sure there is much to improve on. Nice to see subjects like this captured, they will be gone a a few years. 		Sep 24th
40 Sep 21 Comment Tricky to capture this. My feeling is might be better to remove the white bits the foliage in the top right. Also perhaps just to hone in on the five women and delete the drummer altogether. Sep 24th

As an Abstract it's OK but I wondered if it might work better with a bit off the top and and a touch more contrast. What do you think? 		Sep 24th
40 Sep 21 Comment It's an interesting experimental shot but it doesn't quite cut it for me. I think the "shot through the window concept" is OK but perhaps needs a single subject like someone doing something (wearing bright colours to stand out) rather than a truck. Text always catches the eye and that on the truck is reversed which is a bit confusing. So, good try but well worth a revisit to do better. Sorry to be so negative. Sep 21st
