I confess I have never seen any of these in Leeds/Bradford or museums - I will keep am eye open!
It's a nice table top pic and I like the treatment - it almost makes it look like a film slide. I am maybe not so keen on the reflections on the floor, also the two buses touching but that's just me. |

Yes, this works very well. Good shot. My only suggestion is to tone down the white lines of putty which grab my eye, |

Very nice. I think I prefer Jen's version too. Nothing else to add. |

Yes, I thought of making it go left right but of course that would mean fiddling with the logo. |

I obviously need a wider angle lens - these chaps were coming over extremely low. |

Thanks for all the comments. My feeling best option is to go back with a different lens setup and re-photograph. |

I like this a lot more than the first; the building in the background sets the scene and provides "context". Nice travel pic. |

I generally achieve this effect in the camera by selecting a suitable shutter speed by trial and error. For vintage motor cycles doing perhaps 60mph it's around 1/250th |

Yes, it certainly fits the category, well seen. The background is a bit busy, which is OK but I think it is a little soft and IMHO really needs to be bitingly sharp (or else blurred). You don't say what aperture/shutter speed you were using. |

This is a good subject for your local city project. I think the blue sky lifts the picture. Yes, maybe lighten the shadows. I agree better to remove the sliver of sky on the left hand side.
However, I find that my eye is drawn to the notice board - unfortunately text does this and maybe a different view, more to the right might have worked better. Although the notice, trailer, building are all part of "the scene" I would like to more of Creepy Santa and the right hand side.
Incidentally, I find more and more of my pictures are ending up cropped to a square format. That might work better here, too. |

The footprints in the foreground for me do detract a bit, also the tyre marks in the middle. I think I would prefer a letterbox crop which excludes most of the foreground and includes more of the interesting mountains and sky. Also might work better in B&W with some shadow detail. What do you think? |

Nice capture and treatment in post. It's a great idea to work in projects like this (and something for the rest of us to look forward to in these terrible times). My only minor suggestion is perhaps slightly too much crop on the right hand side, I liked the two horizontal cracks in the wall. |

Great picture. My only suggestion is to ask whether you could get a bit of detail in the shadow areas? |

Yes, grand to take the opportunity to take these pictures. Nicely positioned in the frame and sharp. It's perhaps a little tightly cropped but fine for me.
There is a slight blue cast on the picture, easy to correct by selecting auto WB. I prefer to see a bit of blur on the wheels to show movement/speed and also to lighten the shadow areas so as to be able see the faces. Finally the black area on the top of the back helmet catches my eye. What do you think? |
