I think the centre would be better softened too but overall a really unusual effect. |

Great blurred effect and I think the combo works well, except I am not sure about the non-blurred area right in the front centre. I appreciate this is personal but I feel that would be better softened/blurred too. |

I think better if the plate and jam were on some sort of surface (a table?) instead of floating with some shadows. I like everything else. |

I think the original is splendid. Interesting effect you've done here though. |

Interesting effect, I too thought of a fried egg! Definitely a Chihuly genre.
I think it could do with a better title, it doesn't say "vase" to me. |

I saw it as a face or bird image. I like the treatment which is very effective, I would be tempted not to crop the bottom off. |

The first image has a minimalism which I prefer. |

This is basically a snapshot from about 10 years ago when I should have known better! I wouldn't take this sort of shot now.
I should really have taken this from a better angle; perhaps with more confidence I might have asked the owner of the horse to move it.
I agree about cropping/cloning out the red valve, not sure about the lettering but something to consider later.
Thanks for your comments - much appreciated. |

Good to take the picture even with your phone. The treatment is nice, the statue is well positioned and the colours are pleasant. A very dramatic shot. The sun is burned out but I don't think this matters.
I think there is some chromatic aberration which shows round the margin of the statue and the sky is a bit noisy - both of these could be easily improved in Lightroom. |

Pleasant picture of the Palouse, nice to see something going on with the ploughing.
I feel that the "dust storm" (or is it a flare) effect slightly to the right of centre and also on the right hand side takes away from the interesting dust created by the ploughing. Too much is going on. I agree with the others, for me needs +1 exposure and the black areas darkening. |

Certainly better in black and white. I assume this is the effect you were going for but I feel it is a bit too flat but this is personal. I wondered if it would be improved if the contrast was increased a bit. I would be tempted to crop off the right had side also. |

Pleasant image, nice lighting. Well seen. I find the branch/stem at the back/right hand side catches my eye and might be better cloned out. I agree about removing the leaf in the foreground too. |

Great capture - good to see birds doing something. Perhaps cropped slightly too much. My main criticism is that these birds surely should have white feathers and on my monitor these look grey; looks to me like the image has been underexposed too much - which spoils it for me. The other members have made some
good points too. |
