Great composite image, I have nothing sensible to contribute. |

I prefer the mono (final) version. My only suggestion is to crop out the rather empty foreground which would put the figures more on a third but as always this a personal decision. |

Neat effect. I think I would like to see the deer running the opposite way right to left. |

I think your edits have certainly improved the image; what a dull day! To be honest the large patch of empty grass on the left needs something adding or else removing. I like Jim's crop except I would retain the left hand side. |

Thanks for the comments. I agree about adding a bit more zip. My only thought was whether to clone out the two isolated red "dashes" on the fight hand side. |

I am with you on rusty locomotives. Keep at it!
You've done a great job with the colouration, this is really attractive.
My main thoughts are, however, the image is overall a bit soft and I wonder if you have some camera shake (1/200th with a 300mm lens is perhaps a bit risky). I think this is the sort of image that cries out for a "biting" sharpness and preferably better (more contrasty lighting.
But some lovely cheerful colours.
I tend to agree with Henry's comments about zooming in. |

This really says "Autumn". I think the treatment of the waterfall is great. Nice eddies in the quiet bits of the stream. Good exposure, a nice bit of sunlight right at the top - it's a really nice picture IMHO.
I think this is an image where you have perhaps cropped in a little too close - the overall effect is lost if you don't have "the big picture" (also the leaves in the zoomed in images look a little bit soft to me). So for me a crop closer to the original would be better. But as always, a personal decision.
I would be tempted to clone Joe (sorry) out of the picture as well. |

Thanks, but I just fancy a slight crop of the left hand side to remove those little cranes. |

Good shot. Creepy as you say. Did you use flash? To my eye the white highlights are a little burned out and I would be tempted to tone them down a bit. |

Nice scene well taken. It works well in IR black and white - what is natural coloured view look like?
To be picky there are a number of pale spots (presumably leaves) in the wooded area and rocks which catch my eye and I would be tempted to clone them out. Also, there is a white "line" in the waves on the bottom right hand side which goes right to the edge of the frame that I would also clone out. But this is personal preference. |

Good lighting with such great colours. I think Alison's crop is an improvement. |

This is nicely taken and shows the birds in their environment well. If it isn't being entered in a Nature comp I would be tempted, as the others have suggested, to clone out some of the vegetation. |
