18 Dec 19 Comment I am not convinced by the sky but love the bottom portion of this image. I would be tempted to chop off the top part to leave a "letter box" sized image. I also like Mark's version too though. Dec 22nd

40 Dec 19 Comment Overall it looks a bit too dark to me, I wonder if it would be better somewhat lightened. I think most people have tried this sort of picture - the suggestion to turning it upside down is a good one. I think it would have been better next time to include some reflections of brighter coloured objects perhaps something red. Just a thought. Dec 22nd
40 Dec 19 Comment Yes, good that you are trying something new and with some success. Keep experimenting but be careful of your eyesight! The image makes it clear how minute Mercury is in comparison to the Sun. Dec 22nd
40 Dec 19 Comment This is an interesting subject and I can quite see why you wanted to have another go at it. The flat lighting makes this a challenging subject to photograph, though. To me the road looks curved, maybe lens distortion which should be improvable in LR or PS would be helpful. Is the camera also slightly tilted upwards? Also, is there a touch of yellow at the bottom left hand side which could be cloned out. I would be tempted to remove the sky which doesn't add anything IMHO and also crop off the grey boxes at the left and right sides.

40 Dec 19 Comment The woman in the foreground is very good and makes a very lively image. I think cloning out or toning down the bright lights in the background is a definite improvement. Dec 22nd
