Agree with Mike. Overall a bit dark for me. |

Needs something else, like a man - with or without a knife and fork ;) |

Nice! Would this do better in black and white? I think I like the man and dog addition better. |

The cats do look a little too 2D for my taste but I like the overall idea. |

I prefer the previous month's effort too but I thought this was a different take on this kind of subject. The front wheel is clearly blurred due to a slowish shutter speed. A speed effect might well improve it, though, I'll investigate when I've got some time. Thanks. |

Yes, this really adds some helpful "zip". |

Both my Olympus OMD M1 mkii and EOS M(1) offer auto bracketing and I've found if a suitable subject is chosen and I don't move the camera during the bracketing shots it can work well. Obviously not good if e.g. you have people moving around but LR is very good (and forgiving). I think a tripod is advisable but it's always worth a go without. |

A nice detail well seen and captured. I agree with Henry, perhaps needs a bit more vibrance; also needs a slight straightening of the left hand side vertical, I think. |

It's good to try these techniques out. I think the shadows are still lacking detail - too dark. I suspect that you need to shoot extra +/- exposure images over a great range than you have here. I sometimes need to go for +5 to -5 or even +7 to -7 stops. I don't merge in camera but use the photomerge facility in LightRoom, which I think is excellent. I use this technique a lot, mostly handheld. So worthwhile having a go. |

Yes, well seen and captured, exposure for the sunrise is good. Only suggestion might be to lighten the shadow areas a touch. |

Overall a nice shot, the important parts are sharp with pleasant out of focus areas elsewhere. Lovely colours. My only negative is I think it a pity the poppy head on the left hand side is chopped. |

Great capture of the view from the Tower. I would be tempted to crop most of the bottom of the window frame off. You can't remove it all but it doesn't add anything. |

Great effect. You've captured the fireworks during the "blue hour" which makes such a difference. My only suggestion, which is minor - the bottom right hand building is darker than the others, perhaps better lightened a touch. |
