This is super. OK, a bit of duplication in the clouds (and also the plants) but got to say this is so interesting. Easy to fix this, here. Great shot. |

Original is good, as is the modified version; well done. Maybe too much blank on the right- easily fixed. |

I like this! Turned anticlockwise through 90deg it becomes a landscape. |

Thanks for that. I think it's often better having the people interacting or else reacting to the camera. |

An interesting experiment. I am not sure I would include the "blob" on the left hand side. I think including something more obviously Parisian would be helpful. |

I am not saying it is without merit. Jamie mentioned that it has been entered in club comps and got terrible scores. Club judges can sometimes miss the point but they do see things the author hasn't noticed on occasion.
My suggestion would be to remove the stalk and other background details using the spot removal tool and perhaps cropping to make a "letter box shape". I think this would be worth revisiting on that basis. Finally a narrow border round the image would hold everything in a bit better.

This is a really interesting and effective technique and I think works better for this subject than the abseiling one last month.
I've think you've done good, my only suggestion would be: better to get the figures in order so he's bouncing the ball on the far left, dribbling with it, throwing it and finally celebrating a basket on the right. |

Nice image but without the title I am not quite sure what it is. There appears to be a stalk below the flower head but it's in shadow. I've taken your pic and increased the exposure by 1 1/2 stops and it looks better, except there are other bits in the background which really need cloning out. Also, the stalk isn't sharp enough. Sorry, this needs some more work. |

Good piece of work. My only suggestion would be to slightly darken the light triangle in the top right corner but that's an unimportant point. |

Nice scene. I feel that the sky is a bit overcooked, but that is a matter of taste. Perhaps a square crop might also be worth considering? |

I thought of that Henry but feel that the wires are part of the story - modern railway system vs steam engine. I've gone the whole hog and removed the signals and wiring gantry and added some blue(-ish) sky (the original was taken on a horrible day). |

Who knows? Yes, there was a kid with the bystander but she was playing up and not interesting photographically. I was hoping for something like that famous 1930's UK Southern Rail poster of a child and an engine (driver) but it wasn't to be. |
