18 Feb 19 Comment You've done a great job stitching it all together, made me smile! Feb 17th
18 Feb 19 Reply You are right, I hadn't noticed that before. Feb 17th
18 Feb 19 Comment Neat idea which works well as hot lips or a paddling pool. Feb 17th
18 Feb 19 Comment Nice idea. Is the top of the cactus a bit soft, though? Feb 17th
18 Feb 19 Comment I like version 2 a lit more. My only complaint is that the street portion is a bit small in the frame. Overall works well though. Feb 17th
18 Feb 19 Comment Yes, too bright on the left hand side. Feb 2nd

40 Feb 19 Comment I'll send you a little PowerPoint I have give to clubs Feb 24th
40 Feb 19 Comment Good separation, I would be tempted to provide a less contrasty background but that's a matter of taste Feb 24th
40 Feb 19 Comment You can probably minimise the posterisation (might be a sRGB artefact?) in post.
Looking closely there are actually some ripples starting so you got the picture just in time.

40 Feb 19 Comment You could even consider a very tight crop taking out the very soft dogs at the rear. Feb 24th
40 Feb 19 Comment I agree with your comments but paradoxically the original has been accepted in a salon recently so can't be all bad. Feb 24th
40 Feb 19 Comment I like the effect you have produced on the rams's head. However the background is a bit too busy for my liking. Could you separate it out? Feb 17th
40 Feb 19 Reply Good shot, I prefer the third version without the bokeh which is too much. Feb 17th
40 Feb 19 Comment Nice picture, some might not like the horizon being across the middle but it works for me. Feb 17th
40 Feb 19 Comment I find the blueness in the shadows a bit too much to be honest.
It would be worthwhile seeing if increasing the ISO to 1600 and stopping down to f16 gave you more depth of field.
I think I would have been tempted to try sideways shots, as others have commented.

40 Feb 19 Comment The only negatives for me is that the tail feathers are a but soft and it might have been better if the bird were facing each other ie interacting a bit more, but overall a nice shot. Feb 17th
40 Feb 19 Comment Maybe. Or: I've quickly cloned the quay out. Feb 5th
