Good effort and certainly grabs the attention - I agree with the others about removing the jesses and adding a nice sky. |

Great effect but it really needs a surfer or similar figure. |

Well it's certainly an unusual treatment - what did Allison think about it? To be honest I prefer the impasto treatment. |

I think this is a great combination of two images which is most effective. |

yes I wondered about that. But it is also fine as it is. |

People did dress like that in the 50s and 60s in the garden, although my grandfather didn't have a suit.
I think the effect works very well, perhaps not quite convinced about the lines over his face but I can live with that. |

Adding some text is possible, thanks.
I think the problem with this pic is that it's not immediate, one has to look at it for a few seconds to work out what it is. And if you are judge you will probably have moved on. |

I like the reflection of the birds in the water too. |

The leaves at the top hold the scene in quite well perhaps you could crop a touch off the top. I find the row of figures (doing selfies?) in front of the building distracting, also there is a camera tripod on the left hand side. These could all easily be cloned out.
In my opinion there are some technical faults. There is a slight tilt of the camera. I think the image is slightly underexposed, there is some chromatic aberration most obvious in the leaves at the top, and the colour of the sky is not attractive.
This all probably reflects taking the picture on a dull day.
Sorry to be so critical but this picture doesn't work for me. |

I did wonder about cropping some of the foreground. The background was a bit too messy to include more leg. |

The post processing looks a big improvement on the original and well done in going up to take the pictures.
It's a matter of personal taste but I prefer being able to read the detail in Original 2 over the final version.
I also dislike the tilt - I appreciate that helicopters have difficulty in flying straight up but it makes life rather awkward for the photographer. |

Nice capture.
I agree about cropping the top. My only other comment is that the jackal looks a bit static in the frame. |

Pleasant picture of the birds, but they are a bit small in the frame. You have also cut off the top of the mountain; I am not sure if this has sufficient interest to keep, perhaps consider some cropping.
One can remove water lines like this manually using the Spot Healing Brush tool in PS or PS elements with "context aware" turned on (I've also played with white balance and de-hazing). |
