Neat idea but for me whatever is on the pallette is too indistinct and it "misses". Sorry.

I think it needs a stronger shadow. |

I agree with Mike, it needs something else like an insect.

This is not a final version and I appreciate your thoughts. Having looked at the image again, I think the street light on the right needs taking out.

I use Adobe Lightroom almost exclusively for primary post processing. In the development module there is a section called Noise Reduction - I simply use the slider called "Luminance" to reduce noise to an acceptable level without ablating important detail (one gets a magnified section of the image to judge this). I find this works very well.
The advantage of Lightroom is that the original RAW file is untouched so if I change my mind I can go back to the original file. |

I've taken some of your comments on board, the left hand still needs some work, the wiring and water pipes being quite difficult to remove naturally. |

I presume it was taken in ambient light so you've done a good job in capturing this. Maybe a 50mm f1.8 lens (if you have one) would have been better.
I think it would improve the image to de-noise the skin tones especially. Also I find the 3 line reflections in the eye a bit distracting - are they catch lights from fluo lights? I would be tempted to clone these out and substitute a single round catch light. |

Welcome to the Group, Curtis.
Nice picture. It's sharp enough where it matters. Nice lighting and colours. Would look good on the wall as a print.
It's a matter of taste but I would be tempted to trim a touch off the top to remove the black top left hand corner and also trim off the out-of-focus leaf/chopped off pink flower in the bottom right hand corner. |

For me the isolated mono version is fine in the centre.
Perhaps better if it was a little less soft but I appreciate it may be hard (focus stacking?) to get it all in focus with the depth of the subject. |

Yes, a very attractive image, well done. My only suggestion would be to clone out the isolated white lights on the right hand side/backgound which I find distracting. |

Nice image and well put together. This is very attractive. You've done a good job of improving the exposure.
I find the angle of the window a little distracting and there is a little too much noise on the left hand side - probably easy to reduce using the luminance slider in LR. |

You've done a good job in brightening up the image. Although it's an interesting sky, the lichen encrusted rocks are the real subject and I think you could have made more of this by pointing the camera a little further downwards. I agree with Susan's comments about the right hand side. |
