Good job of bringing out the reflections in the background, Mike. You and your wife are now part of the ad for plant butter. I think I will stick with traditional cow butter. Nice job. |

A perfect and simple Valentine message, Jan. The freeform heart with added filters is stunning. Your added background and border finish the image. |

Good use of color to add interest to an otherwise drab image, Steve. The arrows on the fence provide leading lines to highlight the number. Your face seems to be a bit misplaced. I feel that it would be better placed behind the number. |

Frans, good job blending your two images together You did a good job of adding interest to the lighthouse and adding the water. The water added in front of the silhouetted foreground of your original image has certainly increased the interest and beauty of the final image. |

Gunter, at first glimpse I thought your image was of moving water. But after reading your dialog it was easy to see the texture of the plant leaf. It has a nice flow to it with the diagonal lines. The veins of the leaf give an interesting texture to the image. The highlights and shadows give depth to the image and move the viewers eye around the image. Excellent work. |

Steve, the bright shinning star of this image is the sunshine yellow daffodil which certainly brightens up a dreary winter day. All the other flowers seem to be leaning toward the daffodil as to soak up some of the bright sunshine. The fractals give each flower definition and separate it from the group. The darker edges of the image surrounding the daffodil make it the star. Good job. |
