Brian, the radial blur on the sky image was the perfect choice to go with the birds. The soft colors work well for me. You did an excellent job. |

I love your leprechaun with his pot of gold, a perfect image for this month. Everything seems to fit together perfectly-the manor house with sheep and the man in green outside. Lucky for you that he didn't delete everything. |

You did a wonderful job, Steve of integrating the goths into the waves. I hope they don't drown. the water looks a bit rough. The three are placed perfectly to bring some tension into the image. good work. |

Beautiful color palette, Fran. The sunflowers seem to give the perfect texture needed to give a coral like look. The circular orientation of the sunflowers gives the perfect look for the fish to be swimming into an abyss. The one fish in the front with the colors of the sunfowers and other fish is the perfect addition to finish the image. |

I forgot to say that after you do the selection of the bird and reflection, invert the selection. Then change the water color. |

wonderful shot, the bird is clean, sharp and well exposed. I would definitely remove the sky and lighten the background as well as the nesting material. |

I agree that opening the shadows on the osprey would be helpful. A vignette might help to eliminate some of the background clutter. I would probably crop up some from the bottom. You have a good sharp eye, and the head is still wet from diving to catch the fish. |

I agree with what has been said. there is not enough contrast to make the flower pop. The flower does seem a little soft. |

The bird and reflection were selected, then the color correction was done. the Grebe is the important part of the image. There is nothing special about the reflection. I wanted to get the bird closer, so cropped off some of the reflection near the bottom of the image. the leading lines at the top of the image are reflections of grass or reeds in the background. |

I agree that there is too much negative space in the image, and a crop is needed. A horizontal crop would seem to be the best choice. The image seems soft and lacks detail. Maybe the bird was too far away? It might be an improvement if the water was darker. |

Another image captured with conflict between birds, you were able to catch the conflict with adequate sharpness and detail in both birds. Good job on the poses of each bird, they both are exhibiting a pose that indicates they are fighting to capture or retain something. Brightening the face of the upper bird would be helpful. |

Conflict is always a plus and hard to capture both birds with sharp detail. You were able to capture the conflict and sharpness. Good job. |
