Thanks Jan, I think it would be a good idea to fix the hole in his mustache. |

Good work with the crystal balls, flood filter, and flowers and bugs. The colors work well together with a good mix of pastels and neutral colors. Nice placement in the water and good choice of wave height. Nice to have you in the group. |

Jan, another one of your fantastic creations here. It is just creepy enough for Halloween with a warm feeling flowing out of the house. The cat is the perfect thing to put in the lower window. |

Good job creating this image. To me it represents the circle of life which you have handled well. From childhood to old age placed in the galaxy with some sort of higher power controlling the circle. |

Alan, you have lit the image just enough to let us see the details. Good work with the windows and lamp. The woman looking back over her shoulder makes her appear to be uneasy as if she feels someone is watching her. Overall the image gives a feeling that something unpleasant may happen. I would like for the sky to be a little darker to give the feeling of the sun going down. Good job. |

Everything works in this image, Steve. The Witchmen going up the stairs look as if they were always there. The greeting party and musicians make me think maybe it is not a joyful occasion. And the light rays tie the image together. Good work. |

This is such a fun image, Fran. You have given such a different rotation to each pig that it looks as if they are all different pigs, not the same. Pigs do fly this time. Good work. |

You always have such interesting images, Geoff. This rock footed wallaby is another. The lighting on the animal brings out the colors of its fur so nicely. I would be tempted to lighten the shadows just on the wallaby. Good work. |

Beautiful blue heron, Brenda. You did an excellent job of improving the background. It is certainly an improvement over the original. The crop seems to work, and orientation of the bird brings you right into the image. |

I did add some blue to bring out the texture in the feathers. |

Good capture of the green heron with its catch. The background is distracting because it is so bright. It would benefit from some darkening. It's possible that a lower f stop and higher shutter speed would have removed some of the distraction by blurring the background some. |

Nice work, Dean. It is always better to have an odd number of subjects. There are some bright areas that would probably benefit from some darkening. I do agree that the background is distracting. Toning it down would probably help. |

Beautiful falls, Mervyn. You selected the perfect place to stand, and the shutter speed and f stop seem perfect. You were fortunate that it was an overcast day with no harsh light. I like Brenda's idea to brighten the greens in the image. One thing that I would suggest is to soften the edges of the rocks in the foreground with a blur layer. |
