What a beautiful, delicate image. I have a light box and have never had any luck with it. It is obvious from your image that a light and airy flower works well. The little bit of pink and green leaves work so nicely to set off the white flowers. Good work. |

The first texture, the green was masked completely off the flower. The second texture darkened the image. Only the dark purple center was masked. The third texture, the stem was lightly masked. And the 4th, no masking. For the most part except for the first texture that changed the background from black to green, the texture only made a brightness change or a hue change. The third texture changed the background to more texture and less smoothness and gave more definition to the flower. |

Three nicely placed elements showing art preferences. Looks like the train may be part of the empty frame soon. It all works well for me. The sun is placed to create the light needed to give the shadows that fall with each piece. It is not distracting to me. As always, nice work. |

Steve, you have beautiful colors in your garden. I don't know how you are able to tend to your garden and give as much time as you do to PSA. I particularly love the iris in the background with the other flowers around. The texture works well. Maybe one bird of paradise would be sufficient, two seem to be somewhat overpowering. |

Good job, Jan, I love what you have created. Everything just seems to fit perfectly. The lines you created bring one easily into the image. The fish add a bit of whimsy and the texture brings it all together. |

To me you accomplished what you set out to do. In my opinion this is a beautiful piece of abstract photography. The simple uncluttered lines give a clean, peaceful feeling to the piece. You handled the waterdrops perfectly. If anything, I might reduce the brightness on the wide white stripe closest to the left side. Great job. |

Gwen, You have definitely made an improvement to the original. I agree with what has been said. The background work gives life to the image and provides an interesting place for the bird. Any wildlife image needs to have some element that shows the animal doing something unless it is a beautiful portrait, so your image needs another critter or food source to bring interest. The work on the color of the bird makes the bird more vibrant. I feel that the oil paint filter is maybe too much on the bird as you have lost all the detail especially in the feathers. |

Love this Geoff. It has so much ani action with the two birds admiring themselves in the shiny bumper. Nice warm color palette with a bit of blue sky in the reflection. I would not crop. It is such a wonderful story. |

Beautiful image of the gallinule. The sun on the bird shows the iridescent colors well. The water drops are a good addition. Your flip was a good choice. Because the bird was not on the same plane you lost some depth of field toward the back. I would brighten the eye a bit to make it pop. A crop up from the bottom would help to remove the clutter. |

Jacob, an image well seen. It would help to open the lower shadows as Pierre has shown. It reminds me of a bird in flight. Good job. |

Beautiful composition, Pierre. Both birds appear sharp, and the red and blue contrast well causing the birds to stand out from the background. The fact that the birds are facing in different directions is an added plus. Cropping is a matter of taste, but I also feel that a tighter crop would help |

You found a color palette with soft colors that work well together. The background is nicely blurred with no distractions. Mervyn's flip and Pierre's crop are both improvements. You did a good job of bringing attention to the center of the main flowers. |

Nice clean image, Mervyn. The mother and colt are well separated. The image shows movement with the tail action, and baby hopping along behind. |
