Good job, Jan. I like what you have created with the motion blur. It looks very scary. The trees along the path create a nice frame for the path. |

Good work with the image, Gwen. The overall masking works well. The aged, sepia look works well. There are a few spots that need cleaning up. The top guitarist's upper arm (left side) appears distorted with some bright areas. The lower guitarist has a circle from his shirt above the top of the guitar that should be removed. |

Fran, good work with your image of spell casting. The spell casting part works well with the darkness of the background and dark sheet covering your head. I agree with Alan. The cup and pink squiggles seem to be too bright. I also feel that it would be helpful to tone the brightness of the arms down a bit. The choice of the cup probably would have been improved by using something that was older looking rather than the coffee shop type of cup. |

Alan, good work with the shadows and perspective in your image. The objects appear to be placed perfectly. The larger columns frame the image well and give a place to enter. The shadows work and the ball appears to be floating as it should. Good work, as always. |

Good work, Steve. The many shades of blue work well together. the Goth wit bluish colored skin fits in perfectly. Her brownish ayes work to give the viewer a place to "land". Good work. |

Good job, Jacob, you have done very well with this pretty rose. You chose a subject that was one large flower rather than one of many small ones. The vignette works well to further isolate the subject. The color is a little more saturated than the original but not overly so. Keep up the good work. |

Geoff, your capture of the great egret gives a sharp image of a bird in flight. I feel that decreasing the highlights would bring more detail to the feathers. it also might be helpful to enhance the eye and beak just a bit. |

Brenda, it is a bird on a stick but has been processed well. The background is nicely out of focus. The bird has good detail and texture in the feathers and the eye has good color and definitely draws the viewer into the image. |

Such a pretty, colorful bird, Pierre. You have good detail in the feathers, and the bird is nicely framed in the front. The reflection is definitely a plus. It would be helpful if the eye had more detail, but it may be too dark to recover. |

Nice capture Dean. The trees are just beginning to show the buds of new leaves. The path gives the viewer a leading line through the trees. A bit more contrast might improve the image, especially since it is B&W. |

Nice action with the chicks, Mervyn. Good contrast with the chicks and dark background behind their heads. Nice detail and texture in the feathers. The open beaks add to the interest of the image. |

Thanks, it is a mature adult in breeding plumage. I always use spot metering. If used correctly, it prevents over exposing the whites. Best choice for white birds. |
