Jan, for someone that doesn't like science fiction, you have done a magnificent job. Science fiction doesn't do much for me either, but this is so well put together. The silhouette of the mother and boy leads us right into the image. And we see what is waiting behind the door. |

Lori, welcome to our group. Your first image looks like a place that I would like to be right now-away from people. The lighting is beautiful. The light in the tree house and yellow flowers balance each other and bring the viewers eye to the focal point of the image. Everything is well blended. Good job. |

Denise, you have given this image the mood that most of us are feeling right now. The gull looks sad, as he is trapped inside. And the pelican appears happy to be outside free to fly as he wants. |

Georgianne, you have created beautiful tones in your final image. The background almost looks like frosted glass. Good job. |

Good job putting all of this together, Alan. I really like the use of the moon and negative space in the sky as well as the painting in of the haze. The men are well placed on their way to the monolith, and the shadow on the left of the image creates the tension you wanted. |

Steve. the raindrops look like jewels. the lupine leaves resemble a basket holding the two rain covered flowers. You blended everything together so well. |

Geoffrey,
The eagle is so colorful and appears so strong. The blood tells the story of the kill and feeding. I agree that more room in front is needed. Good job removing the distracting branches. |

Brenda you could use the Camera Raw Filter in PS to open the shadows further and bring down the highlights. I'm afraid the little yellow section's edges are overexposed with complete loss of detail. The new title sounds good to me. Did you see the face on the right side? Beautiful color |

Jacob, your work is improving every month. The black and white conversion was a good call. The viewer is asked to look at the lines and texture of the flowers instead of the color. The vignette isolated the flowers well. A bit of lightening of the flowers especially in the center of the lower one would probably be helpful. Really good job. |

Pierre, the beauty of this image is enhanced by the dew drops especially on the wings and legs of the dragonfly. It is nice that the head is turned enough to make most of the face visible. Good job. |

Dean, beautiful light, and how fortunate you were to have the water for the reflection. I think cropping to a panorama format was a good choice. |

Mervyn, they look like Egyptian geese to me, what a big family. You have brightened the eyes nicely. The water has good texture but smooth too. I agree that a vignette would probably help. I think, maybe the noise filter removed too much of the detail from the ducks. They seem to be too smooth with a loss of texture. Good job capturing the entire family with lots of eyes. |
