Yes, it certainly looks like the same woman. |

This took quite an imagination, Jan, love it. A black hole seems to be the only place anyone could go to escape. Take me there. Thanks for something to smile about. |

Denise, you have done such a good job with this. The blue toned buildings in the background contrast beautifully with the golden light on the city streets. Then everything else fits together perfectly. The lighting has been handled so well giving prominence to the building to the center left. And the man with the umbrella leads us right into the scene. Every element is blended seamlessly into the scene. |

Good work eliminating the background, Georgianne. I do agree that something is needed to anchor the book and doll. They seem like they are almost floating. |

I love your HDR background used to set up this image, Alan. It is very inviting. The woman and man were worked quite well and fit perfectly into the scene. It is one of those scenes that say, what will happen next. Good work. |

Good work, Steve, putting all this together. It is all blended well and seamlessly. All the flower and fruit seed pods along with Mister Steve work well to bring this image to its finale. The only thing I might add is that the bright area to the top right pull the eye away from the rest of the image. Maybe it should be toned down a bit. |

Thanks, Alan, I like the way that Jan accomplished more contrast to the ghost.
The street performer that you saw in Edinburgh-was she located on the hill up to the castle? |

Thanks, Jan, I really like the way you gave contrast to the ghost. I felt like the misty, smoky atmosphere was needed to give the eerie and ghostly feeling. |

This one is good, too-same bright spot under the chin. Ditch the frame, it adds nothing. |

Brenda, I also like this color revision best. You do have a bright spot under the chin that should be darkened. I do not think that you are able to blur the background or any other part of the image and qualify to enter in Nature. They are pretty specific-nothing added that could not be accomplished in the traditional darkroom. |

Great capture on the fly, Brenda. In my opinion, your best option is to process the image again using the Adobe Camera Raw Filter. It has been a long time since I have competed in PSA Exhibitions. So I looked at the Nature rules. Contrast, reducing highlights, reducing saturation, sharpening are allowed. This is what I used in ACR filter-highlights -100, dehaze + 79, texture +19, clarity +6, in color mixer yellows -42, oranges -13. Then back to basic panel vibrance -20. |

Good work with bringing out the detail in your butterfly image, and good work reducing the highlights. It's difficult to locate all the distractions when first starting to edit your images. Very good work, better each time you try. |

Good work with the focus stacking, hand held, Pierre. I do like Brenda's crop and work to increase contrast. Lucky for you that you had your macro lens. |

You have captured such a wonderful moment of interaction between the two zebras, Mervyn. The diagonal lines formed by the neck and head of the two zebras keep the eye anchored on the main subjects. Back and white creates so much more interest and contrast than the color image. The crop keeps all of the important elements and eliminates the less interesting ones. Good work. |

Brenda, I always anchor an image in the right hand corner when deciding to flip it. The left hand corner causes the image to be less visible or prominent. There is no texture on this image. I tried a texture but it didn't work. |
