Beautiful job, Jan. I love the dude and dudette. Georgianne image definitely lets us know that it is a lady. This was a masterful treatment to arrive at your final result. |

Nice work with the frame, Helen. The driftwood, lake and background create the perfect frame. I do agree with Jan that the "object" is somewhat overpowering-reduced opacity or different blend mode would most likely improve this. But the object from the bench has beautiful lines-maybe desaturate it a bit, too. |

Nice work Georgianne. Your final image is much more appealing than the original. Love the enhanced colors, black edges and warp. |

Alan your creation is well thought out and well composed. The man is in the perfect place at the top of the stairs and at the bend in the stars at the landing. A tiny bit of light in the lamps above the man might enhance the image. It would bring the lights out of the darkness. The desaturated colors work very well here. Good job. |

I took 200 images. The third image with dark and light was a fulfillment of the assignment for a monochrome print. |

Thanks, this was a difficult camera club assignment. I did not love doing it. The assignment did not receive a lot of gold stars from the members. |

Steve, you are a master of extracting your Goths and re grouping them into another image. The textures on the faces in this one are wonderful. Love the sky. Yes, I would like to see a bit more of the churchyard and a bit more detail in the eyes.

The centered horizon line does not bother me. The panorama orientation is perfect. I'm afraid you have lost all the detail in the salt area. The reflection is beautiful. The top clouds seem a bit bright. You might like to try some editing in the Camera Raw Filter, as well. |

Brenda, the layers of rocks and colors interspersed with tones of white make this image. You have captured it well. The little hill with the two top knots placed against the rising hill creates texture contrasts that show the difference in the types of layers created by the straight hill in the back and rising layers in front. A bit of work in the camera raw filter might give a better contrast to show off the layers and textures. |

Welcome to our group Jacob. Good work with the iPhone. I would suggest trying some work with a camera to have more control with the image.
I agree with everything that has been said, lots of good suggestions. Your mushroom in the foreground is nice and detailed and sharp. a bit of cropping down from the top might be helpful. Also, frequently greens are an overpowering color in an image. It is sometimes helpful to reduce the saturation of the yellows and cyans in the greens. |

Good capture Pierre, nice and sharp. And the colors are true. Least bitterns are very secretive, usually, and it is a plus when they come into the open. To bring the bird out in this image a few edits would probably help to improve the image. I used the Camera Raw Filter, burn and dodge and crop. And CRF to add vignette. See if you see any improvement. |

Beautiful fall image with a peaceful feel. It is nice that the image is not over processed or saturated. The leading diagonal lines of the trees and bank of the water take the viewer to the convergence point. The bush with a touch of red in the front right corner is a nice touch. The reflection is definitely another plus. |

Nice crisp bird, Mervyn with excellent feather detail. The reflection adds a nice touch.Eye is nice and sharp and prominent. I feel that the image would be helped by adding some canvas on the left to give the bird more room. |
