Love to see you when you are in FL. I don't do anything special, but have patience. |

Geoffrey,
You have captured beautiful detail in the bee and flower with a nice clean background. I would probably remove the flower on the upper right to simplify the image. |

Brenda, you have a great action shot and story to accompany it. The image is crisp, and you can even see the detail of the claws/paws. I feel that the snow leopard and background need more separation /contrast. A slight crop off the bottom might be helpful. I used the camera raw filter to increase contrast, add a vignette and darken the oranges and lighten yellows. |

Pierre,
You have a fine capture of the young least bittern walking across the cattails. It tells a nice story. The two green leaves that cut across the bird are a distraction. I agree with Brenda that the image of the bird seems soft. With this lens and converter you usually need something to brace the camera and lens-a boardwalk support or other system to reduce camera shake. Usually, when I am shooting birds in motion, I try to use a shutter speed of 1/1600 sec or higher. I also agree that some cropping is needed. You didn't have quite enough reach even at 840 mm. |

Dean,
You have captured a beautiful sunset. It is nicely framed with the curved shoreline and trees. The color palette and reflection add to the beauty. I do believe that a thin stroke around the edge of the image would help as it would separate the image from the black background. |

Mervyn,
The concentric circles and water droplet make this image. The concentric water circles frame the bird, and the droplet adds interest to the image. I feel that the image is a little dark. This might be a problem with what we see on our computer and how it transfers into the DD site. Frequently my images appear the right exposure on my computer and become dark when displayed on the DD site. |
