34 Jul 19 Comment Beautiful work, Jan. You certainly worked outside of the box, and it definitely worked. I love birds and love what you have done. Jul 19th
34 Jul 19 Comment Beautiful transformation, love the colors. Jul 19th
34 Jul 19 Comment Beautiful job. Everything works together. Good job. Jul 19th
34 Jul 19 Comment I too love the original with the ducks in silhouette. The patterns on the water are so beautiful and peaceful. I do feel that there is too much white especially at the top of the image. However, you edits do accentuate the geometry of the image, goo work. Jul 19th
34 Jul 19 Comment I don' have much to add here. I agree with everything that has been said. I do definitely feel that a crop from the top would help but would retain the gradient. Jul 19th
34 Jul 19 Comment Steve, I agree that the left side of the head seems awkward and too wide, and the chin doesn't quite match at the left split. I agree with Alan that one split would work better too. The left eye and area around it just seems to be off. the center split works well to tell the story, good work. Jul 19th

69 Jul 19 Comment Geoffrey, You have captured such a fine image here. The intense stare of the seal brings the eye into the image immediately. The face is so clean and crisp, and the water frames it nicely. Jul 19th
69 Jul 19 Comment Brenda, I agree that the limpkin seems soft and that the image seems bright. Mervyn's edit is a great help. Darkening the area around the bird helps to isolate the bird. I might have blurred the background a bit post processing. Jul 19th
69 Jul 19 Comment Donna, the background is beautiful and uncluttered. The bush frames the birds nicely. The birds are clean and crisp, and the wing angle on both birds enhances the image. The color contrast of the two birds, adult and chick, tells the story of maturity in this species. Well done as always. Jul 19th
69 Jul 19 Comment Nice clean background and nice angle on the butterfly, well captured. Jul 19th
69 Jul 19 Comment Dean, the four flowers are lovely. The fact that each flower has a different orientation makes the image unique, and beautiful colors. Jul 19th
69 Jul 19 Comment Good lighting and depth of field on the caterpillar, Mervyn. I agree with Donna about the cropping and cloning. Jul 19th
