Great idea, Jan. I would like just a little more depth of field in your background. Your steam from the pasta works very well. |

Nice work, Helen. Thanks for the exposure to an effect from the past. Hope your problems are soon behind you, and you are up and running with your computer. |

I hope your computer problems are soon just a bad memory. Your image works well. it is very colorful with a nice color palette. The stained glass effect brings the scene to life. I feel that the reflection is what would be expected. |

Georgianne, the guitar, rainbow and sunset image fit well together. You have used your plug ins wisely to accent each one. I do agree that the beach chair is somewhat out of place as well as its case that is hanging over the arm.. Good job with the rest of your image. |

Alan, you did a beautiful job of removing the background with the pen tool. I agree with the others that the street performer doesn't quite fit. She seems a little out of proportion compared to the man-too big. The lines in the sky seem a bit out of place too. I agree with Steve that the water needs to have some life added with ripples. |

Steve, this is a wonderful image. The different spheres with different textures and sizes make this for me. The prisms take it up a notch, and the addition of the goths give it life. The background adds interest. It was a day well spent. |

Pierre, I don't think it is sensor dust, but a highlight that happened to be in the same plane as the bird. I don't have a problem with sensor dust in that spot in any of my other images. I frequently flip my images to place the subject in the bottom right hand corner. In this position the main subject is more visible. Usually any thing that originates in the lower left hand corner becomes less prominent. If there is something along the bottom in an image that you want to hide, place it in the lower left hand corner. |

Geoffrey, I find the colors and patterns stunning. Good job on your image taken through the window of an airplane. I might tone down the brightness just a bit. |

Brenda, you have captured the cypress swamp perfectly. I like your original image. That is the color palette that you would see in the swamp. the reflections are beautiful, and depth of field was the best choice. |

This is a beautiful image of the wood duck pair, Donna. Love the wonderful detail in the feathers. The background sets the image up perfectly. |

Great tree, Pierre. I love the face. I agree that more contrast is needed. Darkening the sky and darkening the background trees would give better pop to the main tree and separate it from the background. You brought out wonderful detail in the main tree trunk. |

Beautiful bird, Mervyn. I know how hard it is to find this bird up close. They are usually far off in the water or flying in or out. The diagonal of the beak is a nice leading line. The breeding plumage color is perfect and whites have nice detail. |
