Thanks for the explanation. My husband says I don't see the world in metaphor. |

Good job, Jan. You took an accident and made a strong image. It tells the story well. |

Helen, you found an interesting piece of architecture. Maybe more contrast and a crop from the top would give more definition. |

Georgianne, an image well seen. I am not in love with the frame as it does seem to take away too much of the original image. I used content aware fill, clone and healing brush to complete fish and remove some of background.

Alan, as we are now in Lent and approaching Easter your image appears to me to be somewhat disjointed with nothing to tie the elements together.there doesn't seem to be any difference in the texture of the water and the ground that the boys is standing on. I agree with Steve that a texture would help and some more definition in the water would improve the image. |

Steve, enjoyment is what it is all about. You have staggered the ladies nicely. I agree that the mist from the spray of the waves/water needs a bit of softening. The line across the hairline on the right two ladies seems to be too defined. Jan's version improves that. Some splashes on the faces and softening of the line feels more natural to me. |

Geoffrey, the egret is nicely backlit and gives detail to the wings. the bird is presented in a nice diagonal line. the bird appears sharp throughout, especially the beak and eye. |

This would look nice on someone's wall. The Topaz filter does a good job of softening the image. Nice use of color. |

This is a beautiful, peaceful image. The texture on the frog on leaves is stunning. I love the water drop, and the way the frog is framed by the leaves. |

Nice capture, Pierre. The red berries are a nice addition. I have edited it with the Camera Raw filter-added some contrast, and brightened the eye, and a crop. I feel that there is a bit of unnecessary canvas. |

Dean, you captured something wonderful-lovely color palette, love the light rays and clouds. Yes, the sun is too bright. |

Nice expression on the raccoon's face and nice rim lighting, especially on the ears. The left side of the face (whites) may be a little bright. There are a few bright spots on the right, right behind the raccoon. Why such a high shutter speed? |

I didn't do anything special. The image was shot into a clean uncluttered background. I needed a quick image and didn't do much post processing. |

The image is as shot. It was not selected and placed on a dark background. Pretty much, I never use selections but rather work with masks. |
