Jan, every item in this image works to enhance the overall composite. The silhouettes against the sunset with the tiniest sliver of a moon sets up the image for spookiness. The spiral clock anchors all the items in the image. Great work. |

Steve, the waterfall is nicely done with beautiful silky water. However, I do agree with the others. The dancers seem to be pasted on, and they seem to be to large compared to the size of the waterfalls. |

Rob, the eye on the adult is wonderful. The interaction of the birds with their feet showing movement certainly adds to the story and enhances the image.lightening the water a bit would probably help to recover the lost beak. The highlights on the birds should probably be lowered; they are a bit too bright. |

Brenda, the kitten is so cute and innocent looking. Good job with the capture with no blurring due to movement. the eyes have wonderful personality. Personally, I would crop some from the bottom and left. This would leave enough of the wildness in the image but bring the kitten closer. The image does seem to need more contrast and a bit of lowering of the highlights. I tried Camera Raw Filter to accomplish this. |

Donna, Beautiful work. The colors work so well together. The caterpillars have such fine detail and sharpness, and the background is nicely blurred. The diagonal orientation of the caterpillars make the image. |

Pierre, You have presented a beautiful image with nice flowing lines. The lower blossom anchors the image. Red and green always work well together. The whites have good detail and the background is nicely blurred. To my knowledge the f stop does not change on a cropped sensor. I have always used Olympus cameras with 2x crop factor and have never heard or found that the f stop is also 2x. |

Dean,
The green version seems to portray the scene more naturally. The green version also appears to have addressed some of the overly bright highlights. The light rays certainly add to the image. There still seem to be some areas of overly bright highlights with little or no detail. I bring this up because our camera club has been hit recently with judges that pick up the least little area of brightness. |

Mervyn, This is wonderful. The water is beautiful, snowy's eye pops, great feather detail and a lovely reflection. If you would choose to separate the black beak from the water, a bit of dodging might do it. |
