Nice color palette and abstract image. The light rays are interesting and add to the image. It would make a nice texture. |

What a wonderful transformation. The light rays are perfect. the bird does need to be larger-free transform and mask. |

The colors are beautiful. The twirl effect frames the face nicely, and the two main v's give the feeling that they are the arms of the angel. I feel that the image is somewhat bright especially around the face. Brightness/contrast and burn tool were used to lower the brightness and give more definition. |

Phil, your original 3 is the image that pleases my eye the most. The lighting is beautiful. The final image presented has too much brightness, in my opinion.I added a second inversion which brings the image back to the blue tones with more detail in the foliage around it. The red works for me too, but I was unable to remove the extreme brightness around the stalks. |

Steve, the overall effect is quite stunning. The row of colored (muted) roofs set up an excellent foreground. The area to the left and behind the houses works quite well too,to set up the background and area to the sides. I really like the sketch effect. However, I agree that the seagull and goth don't exactly fit. The seagull is way to large compared to the rest of the image and too colorful. The goth seems out of sync with the rest of the image in sketch mode. The goth might fit better on the upper right side. |

This is a beautiful pattern shot, Rob. The slight break in the pattern in the upper right is enough for me.Each line seems to be just the slightest bit different to create interest throughout. |

Beautiful image, Brenda. I feel that your image works well. just as it is. The lights don't bother me.The colors are beautiful. I prefer the original orientation with light on the left.Going from the dark corner on the right to beautiful colors and tree on left feels better for me. |

Love this little bird all puffed up to stay warm. The front view taken straight on the beak rather than sideways works well. Everything seems crisp and sharp even the end of the beak. the square format brings the bird closer and larger in the frame. Good job. |

Dean, I love the color, beautiful sky and V of the mountains. I do agree that the fire weed seems a bit soft. |

Good capture, Mervyn. there is sharpness throughout and the catch adds to the story. The water droplets and concentric circles improve the image. I do agree that a tighter crop from the bottom is an improvement and agree with Brenda that a bit of darkening would improve the slightly washed out colors. I feel that the whites may be a bit bright. |

Is this better? I added a lighter texture for the area around the head on right and top. |
