Beautiful job, Jan. You certainly accomplished what you set out to do.The bold type placed throughout the image lets the viewer know your intent. The B&W is more about the person underneath the type, and the color is more about the meaning of the words. |

It is a beautiful image, Helen. The black background makes the image pop, and the dancer is placed perfectly. I do agree that a tighter crop would improve the image. |

Phi,the black and white version appeals to me more than the color. The texture of the wall as well as the texture of the flowers really makes the image. It is a nice arrangement of the three parts with two buds and the flower in the center. |

Good job bringing out the detail in her makeup and eyes. The change in the background is excellent and is a much better effect.the detail in her hood is much better than the original, I feel.I don't see "loss" in her face either, I'd say more like in deep thought. |

Brenda, I used the burn tool in soft light blend mode with a 50% grey fill to gently darken the messy background. Sorry it took so long to answer. I just forgot. |

Good job, Rob. In Florida we don't have as many opportunities to photograph the night sky as you do. You picked an interesting foreground leading back to the mountains then to sky. |

You have brought interest to an image that needed something to perk it up. the tree with its branches pointing at the ostrich and the ostrich looking back create some needed tension/action.the frame also adds interest, well done. |

The droplets of water certainly add to the beauty and interest of the image.A thin stroke might help to separate the image from the background. |

Mervyn has said it all so well. Everything is perfect in this image. You can just feel the interaction between the two birds. |

In my opinion, Dean, the color image is more appealing. The soft green of the leaves frames the blossom perfectly. I find the triangle of three smaller blooms in the center with the in focus leaf leading up to be the perfect place for my eye to land.the image is simple but beautiful. |

Great detail in the feathers, Mervyn and I can see the detail of the face of the snake too.The angle of the wing is also a nice capture. |
