Beautiful image, Christine. Your crop is perfect. In my opinion, the color transformation is lovely. I agree that the white center flowers (pistil) should have retained their sharpness to give the image a definite focal point. Great job. |

Good job putting all of the images together. They seem, in my opinion, to blend together well. Sometimes when an image is "yours" and has a message, it is clear as glass to the maker. However to the viewers, it may not seem so clear without an explanation. I feel, that maybe that is the case here. I agree with Steve that maybe a different texture is needed-something with less detail. And I agree with Phil that the original 2 head seems a bit too different. The fog vignette seems to work to pull the image together, and maybe the head would work if it were somewhat smaller. |

Beautiful image, Phil. Rotating the image improves the result, and you have added lots of detail. Printing is always a new surprise. Frequently, the result is unexpected. |

I agree with Phil that a crop on the left would be helpful. I feel though that the waterfall is too bright and should be removed. I would have the rest of the train in the image. The nose of the train would give a good leading line and leave the spider web. It is obvious that you enjoy these creations, and you do them well. |

I double processed the raw file, not the processed raw file on a duplicate layer. That way you can play around with the white balance until it is where you want it. To prevent halos when working with a mask, it is necessary to enlarge the image greatly as you get to the edges. Then use a small brush at low opacity. |

Nice capture of the bird. The texture in the sand adds to the image by contrasting with the softness of the bird. You have nice feather detail. The eye is a problem, but at this point there is nothing that can be done other than adding an artificial highlight. It is usually a good idea to expose to the right as long as the highlights aren't blown out. That way you are able to recover some detail in the eye.I do believe that I would give the image a tighter crop-a little off the top and left. The vignette that you have shown is too obvious. It should be subtle. |

Brenda, you have done a fantastic job with the light on this spectacular image. It is simply beautiful. You have just enough detail in the rocks, and the glow on the underside of the upper rocks makes the image. well done. |

I agree with everything that has already been said. It is always better to try to find a least one critter and get closer to it to give a definite focal point. less is always better than too much. |

This is such a lovely image. Everything about the fox ix sharp. I like that the eyes are lit differently. The background is nicely blurred and not too bright. The fox seems to have his eyes fixed intently on something-a very compelling image. You worked hard to get this shot and were very successful. |

Good job fixing the problem of the stick and bird too close to the edge. You captured a nice diagonal.I feel that there is good detail throughout. The whites have good detail. The blacks even though dark have visible detail. It is very difficult to balance the whites with the extreme blacks of the stork wings. Feet are cuter and have nice detail. |
