Jan - Very well done though I would not call it "simple." The only small change I might suggest is to put the man in the center of the opening. I keep wanting him to take a step further! With his walking stick, it suggests more of an ending than a beginning. What if he had no stick and instead his arms were raised, as if to welcome the light? Amazing how small details can influence perceptions. |

Very neat. Now I just have to think of ways to put the ideas to use! |

Your color choice is great and your title most apt. It does seem like the barn's side roof is not in the fog. |

Your texture, overall lighting and colors are quite appealing. But the overall symmetry, save for the central addon, and the dominant horizontal quality just do not feel right for me. As an experiment, I would keep just the right 60%, rotate by 90 deg, tweak with Nik's Color Effects Tonal Contrast and Detail Enhancer, and add a scaled "ghost" copy in the background. |

This is quite a fantastic creation; well done. I like Candy's slight mods. Minor note: The streetlamp toadstools are neat but their lower stems seem a bit too bright compared with right under their canopies. |

Thanks for your comment. Now that I look at it, I do see that some parts of the background are distracting. Here is a fix I think. |
