34 Dec 17 Comment I completely agree that this is a lovely image, and a great use of the twirl filter. Perhaps this comment belongs in our new bulletin board, yet I am inclined to ask if this is photography or digital drawing (for want of a better phrase)? I do not mean to diminish it - I would be happy to put a print of this up on my wall; it is art. But it does not seem like a photograph, but more akin to a painter's work based on a photo that they took of a scene. Maybe the issue is: what distinguishes photography from other 2D art forms like oils or acrylics or watercolors? This image is at the least at some boundary between these 2D art forms. Dec 29th
