And "low key." |

When I made a print of this, I was not as pleased as with what I saw on the computer. Then I made more B&W versions. They seem- for me - to work better when printed. Here is a "high key" version. |

You have a real talent for merging multiple objects into a final result. But for me the bright "waterfall" on the right just pulls my eye away from the real focus (for me again) of the monks, animals and train. The lines of the waterfall also conflict with the lovely diagonals of the train and station. I would go for a serious crop on both the left and right. |

Your crop is just fine. The only thing I would change is have a bit more sharpness in the white pistil tip since its brightness draws the eye so readily. |

I often take photos in museums (if permitted!) but find it hard afterwards to make unique images. On balance, you have succeeded here although I am not sure you needed the head from original 2 - it makes the result too complex and seems too different in style from the statue. |

At first look, I thought this might be an image from an electron microscope or maybe an x-ray of an insect or microbe. Your result does invite the viewer to explore it and to try to make sense of it. Well done. |

Thanks. Making a B&W version lets you emphasize some colors and reduce others. Then adding that in some blend mode other than normal can really help an image. Each image may need a different set of color changes and modes. |
