Steve's additional birds work well to tell your story. I might try cropping from the right a bit to eliminate the lone bird on the right. |

With the dribble gone, this is a fine result. But at least on my monitor, the red cast seems a bit out of place. The texture in the sky about the horse's head and along the top is distracting. I am also tempted to crop from the right and convert to B&W. |

You did a great job with the added reflections. But the final color palette doesn't work for me - nor the full color versions. The essence of the image for me is the geometry. So how about a B&W version? |

This is a great result. Dealing with messy backgrounds is a constant problem for most of us. Well done. It does look like you used Transform/Scale to move the barrel which would seem easier than moving the horse and girl. |

Your lady has real character. I'd keep her "wisdom" marks. Since you did lighten the left, right and top edges, I might try to lighten the bottom also. |
