Definitely altered reality!
I'm not sure about the swans - I think they could be moved closer to the ride and maybe reduced in size a bit. I feel that a crop of the background would help, so that the street lights are taken out.
Selecting intricate areas like the lines on the ride, can be done using Select > Color Range, so if you used this and selected the sky colour (adjusting the fuzziness to suit) then deleting the selection would leave just the ride. It depends on the size of the original, but it can work well. I used this technique to isolate the rigging on this ship when making the attached |

An excellent piece of work.
The treatment you've used has produced an image which could provide Stephen King with inspiration! I like the darkness! |

You've created a masterpiece here! I agree with everyone else about the lighting on the LHS, but other than that you've manipulated the elements superbly and prodoced a very eye-catching image. Well done. |

An abstract from an abstract. You've treated it well.
I agree with Candy's suggestion of removing the vignette. |

A superb image.
Your control of the layers and the treatments used have produced a beautiful image. I like the addition of the lighting and the choice of sepia works well. It would look good mounted.
Excellent! |
