Another excellent image! You've used your imagination well and worked the element superbly.
I must say that I prefer Jan's rendition, but I feel that it could be improved by adding some implied movement in the bee's wings, simply by painting them in on a new layer, with some blur and reduced opacity: |

I think this is superb. The work you put into this has been well worth it.
I particularly like the way you've coloured the leaves in the trees.
The textures you've used are handled very well.
The man and his dog really make this imnage for me - they're the focal point of the image as they walk towards the light. Similar to what I did with 'Coda' many moons ago: |

You've created a very fine tribute with this image. I'm sure it will have been well received by his family and friends. Well done. |

Like everyone else, I like your use of lines and shape to create this excellent image.
I'd probably have taken it much further (and possibly ruined it in the process). Here's one I created a while back, using some of my guitars: |

I like what you've done here. It's a very pleasing image, which you've created from thge single leaf.
I agree with Gunter that using different coloured leaves would improve it, and with Jan in retaining some of the texture, but these are things that we pick up on in response to other's feedback. I still think it's an excellent image. Well done. |

Thanks Sabine. Autumn has lots going for it - even if it hurts sometimes! |
