Hi Ian
Thanks for looking in. SEe the rework I've done in Jan's comment below, where I've brought back some of the blue in the Goth's face. I'm not sure that it looks natural, but that was never the intention.
I spent a lot of my life at sea, and believe me, green faces are not unusual! |

Hi Jerry
Thanks for looking in and for your comments. Have a look at the response to Jan, below. I've brought back some of the blue in the Goth's face (plus a little reorganisation of the flowers).
Thanks again for yourt comments. |

Hi Jan
Thanks for your suggestions. I've resized the bugle flower and also toned back the reds and magentas so there's less competition with her eyes.
I've also brought back some of the blue in her face, as sugested by previous comments (although I'm not too convinced about this part.
Thanks again. |

Who'd have belived that such an ordinary path could produce something as wonderful as this - you should be creating book covers for Stephen King!
I really like the feel of this image and you've used pretty basic tools to create it. The birds and the text are the icing on the cake.
Thanks for the inspiration! |

I like the composition. And I love guitars. I think the blending works well and the overall 'aged' effect is good.
Thanks for an interesting, well worked image.
As an aside - I started with Photoshop in 2002, to create CD covers for my albums (none for sale, but ones that I enjoyed making). I've never looked back from Photoshop since, although my guitar playing only happens occasionally these days.

What a fun spell! Your work in planning and executing the original have paid off.
I like the 'haze' you've created around yourself, so that you don't just disappear into the black background.
I like the pink spell - it makes the image fun! What other colour would a spell be?
I love it! |

Another excellent composition. I like the perspective lines which pull it all together.
The shadows work well to keep evrything in their place.
Thanks for the instruction regarding the shadows etc. Another useful trick for creating shadows is to paint them onto a new layer using black with a soft brush, then reduce the opacity to suit.
It's worth remembering that the click > shift > click works on many of the Photoshop tools: paintbrush, pencil, eraser, clone, blur etc - almost anything where you're drawing or painting. |

A well captured image and one which has been treated with a very simple process to produce an excellent result.
I like waht you've done with the water texture. It works so well. |
