34 Apr 21 Reply Thanks Gwen. The yellows of the daffodils are so vivid - they're a colour that is so hard to reproduce, so it's best to enjoy them as nature provides. Apr 11th

34 Apr 21 Comment This is quite a change from your usual presentations for us. I really like it. The more I look at it the better it gets.
The sharpness of the front of the leaf (photographically, not literally) blends easily into the drifting smoke of the back of it. I like the zingy green aginst the black.
I like the simplicity and calmness you talk of.

34 Apr 21 Comment Your treatment of the image is excellent. Using the mirror image has worked well - I'd have been tempted to clone out some parts so that the twigs weren't duplicated (just the leaves) and as Jan said - clone out the dark speck in at least one of the front leaves.

34 Apr 21 Comment I like this a lot. You've spent some time putting it together and while they don't look the most appetising, the image is well treated and fun.
I agree with Jan that the stroke isn't needed here - sometimes it's good to use the black background of the site so that the image blends into it.		 Apr 9th
