34 Jan 21 Reply I've played again. Here's a version with sinking marbles! Jan 9th
34 Jan 21 Comment I love this! I think the composition, the texture, the detail (and lack of detail) are superb.
It's an image I could happily have on my wall and never tire of. There's so much to be seen and imagined in the background.
Go to the top of the class again!

34 Jan 21 Comment Your use of PS and iPad to add the effects is impressive. You've made a good job of converting the image into the winter scene. There seems to be a bit of conflict with the road being blurred when the barn and the foreground are quite sharp, but I think we can let that go.
Do you use PS on the iPad or work between the computer and the pad?
Well done.

34 Jan 21 Comment You've worked hard at this and produced an excellent image. Well done.
I can't think of anything that could improve waht you've done - just wish you'd chosen 'Gone With the Wind' or 'Watership Down' instead!

34 Jan 21 Comment An interesting subject and some good work in the treatment - I think it just needed to be taken a bit further.
To me, it looks a bit 'pasted' on. Having the ram dead centre adds to this. An overall texture layer could have tied it all together.
I like what Jan has done to it with the blur and the crop.

34 Jan 21 Comment A well put together image. As Fran says, using three different views of the figures has worked well.
I'm intrigued to know how Jack hopped down the steps - usually the box is static and he doesn't appear to have legs!
Did you know that you can also apply various effects to the layer masks? - gradient, noise etc.
Nice image.

34 Jan 21 Comment This still life has a wonderful feel to it. The setup in the first place was very good, but your treatment has made it something special.
I like the quirkiness, the colouring, the texture. What's not to like about this image.
Best of the month for me!

34 Jan 21 Reply Thanks for your suggestions Fran. I'll maybe play with it again later.
There wasn't any real intent here - just a bit of fun and some experiments for entertainment and to while away the hours of lockdown!
