Thanks for your observations. The thing that's wrong for me is the direction of the additional lighting - when you look at the shadows in the trees, it should have been coming from the right hand side! |

Good point about the shadows on the log - I missed that completely. I'll try to do better next time.
Thanks for your kind words. |

I was a safety officer in a past life, so I'm used to being called all sorts of things! No apologies necessary! |

Thanks Fran
She's looking at you to challenge you not to spoil things - she likes it as it is, but you're always welcome to come and see. Why else would she provide the wonderful flora and fauna?
Maybe I could give her more of a smile with Liquify.
Thanks for your observations and your kind words.
And to be quite clear - you're always wanted! |

Another winner! And an escape is something that we may be able to see in the not so distant future (fingers crossed).
I like the eye leaves and the general composition.
I prefer a bit more structure and contrast, so I upped them in Nik Viveza then gave it a slight vignette. Just me being over the top probably!
A fine image without my adjustments! |

An excellent rendition. Well thought out and well treated. I like the ornaments at the door and the smoke from the chimney - it's the little touches that make an image. Something to see after the first impression.
The only thing that's missing, for me, is the wolf - and there's the dark area to the left, just waiting for him.
What big eyes you've got! |

Looks like you were made for the saucer - you take the biscuit!
A fun image and the painted extras help merge it together. The added shadows help blend it together too.
I thought a texture would help blend it more, so I found this overhead light in Topaz Studio 2 then added a vignette.
Love the teapot! |

A well composed and well treated image. There are lots of things to explore in the street. It looks about as busy as ours do at the moment!
An excellent composition. Well done.
Thanks for reminding me about Photomatix Pro - I found that there was an update to the programme when I opened mine. Did you know that the Photomatix software was incorporated into Lightroom? I tend to use Lightroom to create HDR images these days, then use Nik HDR Efex for variations, but I shouldn't have forgotten about Photomatix - it has lots of possibilities. It can also be used to merge completely different images for interesting effects. |

An interesting composition. I agree with Lori that it could do with some more work. I think the original poppy may have worked better than the implanted flower - it looks a bit too much pasted on to me.
I'd probably enlarge the cat too, maybe making more of its eyes.
Of course, these are just my ideas and we all know how weird they can be!
It's still an entertaining image, with lots of potential. |
