Thanks Jan
Good suggestion.
I think it'll be another garden pic next month too - we don't get out much these days! |

Another Monks' Trod on the moors (The Quaker's Causeway), which goes back to 12th Century. This was taken for an illustration in my book. |

Here's a shot which shows the flags (before the garlic was flowering) |

I love this image. You've worked it so well.
I like the diagonal you've created to give the leading line. For me, everything works in the image - even the light direction on the robin has been made to fir with the line of light in the young woman. You've dressed her so well and the 'quirky' topknots are right for the image.
Thanks for putting a smile on my face again! |

You've obviously had fun with this and produced an eye catching image. It's good to see you experimenting with the bits that Photoshop has to offer.
My only (very slight) correction would be to remove the horizontal lines where the two halves of the outer image meet - they tend to distract me from the bright centre image.
I've used the spot healing tool and the clone tool to remove them.
Well done with your image. |

An effective use of filters to give an 'aged' look to the image.
There are lots of filters available to give this sort of effect - I used Nik Silver Efex Pro with the antique plate preset and a border, with reduced opacity over the original, but your's was probably more fun and more satisfying. Well done. |

An interesting composition with an interesting technique! It was a good idea to use the 'General Info' tab as a place to describe the process - it'll be there for easy future reference.
I wonder if the horse should have a shadow too? Maybe it would be a step too far. |

I love this. You've created such feeling in this image. You've worked it superbly. Well done. The face is the icing on the cake.
Did you set about making this image or did it happen by accident? I'm intrigued to find out where you got your inspiration. |

Thanks Alan
The path isn't that well used these days - it's also got stone flags underneath the path which prevent a lot of growth. This year has been quite amazing for the wild garlic. The wet spring followed by unseasonably warm weather must have been just right for it - here's another shot of a nearby copse: |

Thanks Barbara - it definitely is OTT, but I think I am anyway.
It's been a great year for bluebells - wild garlic too. Maybe it's down to the reduction in polution due to the lockdown!
